From our developer's network, a great opportunity arose...Shein's community manager gave us the challenge of creating a beta lookbook website for their latest collections.
SHEIN's 'main' website serves as a webshop, so nothing is said or shown about the company itself, their vision or who they are. The goal therefore was clear: an online inspiration 'room' where customers can find out more about the company, inspire themselves and get a look behind the scenes. Together with the customer, countless ideas and elaborations were conceived. Several Strategy Sessions, style guides, UI/UX kits and prototype designs were held and created. Conversion is very important in SHEIN's webshop, but in this case it didn't really matter. This website serves solely as an exhibition. Thanks to expressive images, neutral colours and a minimalistic design, we were able to achieve a result that fits in well with SHEIN's proposition.
An easy to manage CMS was very important, because all new collections will be shown on this website. This means that new photos, videos and text have to be added on a regular basis. Partly due to this need, we have chosen for the Webflow platform. A very user-friendly and state-of-the-art system that provides endless possibilities in terms of development. Because this is a website that will be used in the long term, we remain busy with optimising and further developing this beautiful website.
